The Shop With A Cop program brings together local law enforcement and community members to create a positive, supportive holiday experience for children and families in need. This initiative connects children with officers from police departments in Ocean County to build trust, joy, and community spirit through giving.

Shop With A Cop is a community program where participating children are paired with law enforcement officers during a supervised shopping experience, typically held during the holiday season.

The program provides children with the opportunity to:

• Shop for gifts for themselves and family members

• Interact positively with local law enforcement

• Build confidence and social empowerment
   

This program emphasizes community partnership and fun, structured engagement between officers and participants.

Program Participation

Shop With A Cop is provided in partnership with law enforcement agencies and supportive organizations throughout the community. The program supports families by giving eligible children a set shopping budget and a welcoming environment in which to shop for holiday gifts.
