O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Head Start provides free access to the Waterford.org online learning platform to support preschoolers as they build foundational literacy and math skills from home.

About Waterford.org

Waterford.org is a research-based online learning platform designed for young learners.
It includes two core programs:

• Smart Start – foundational literacy skills instruction

• Early Reading & Math/Science – skill building in reading and math at the learner’s pace
   

Children begin with Smart Start to develop early literacy basics and then progress into Early Reading & Math/Science. The platform is intentionally structured to support independent learning and positive educational screen time.

Access to Waterford.org is provided at no cost for children enrolled in O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Head Start.

Waterford Resources

The Waterford platform includes the following learning components and materials:

• Phonological Awareness

• Phonics

• Comprehension & Vocabulary

• Fluency

• Language Concepts
   

These resources support critical early literacy and language skills for preschool learners.
 

How to Log In

To begin using Waterford visit the platform login page by clicking here.

Setting up the Waterford Mentor App

• Download the Waterford Mentor app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

• Open the app and sign in using one of the available methods: Apple ID, Google account, or email and password.

• Enter your child’s assigned Mentor Code to link their profile.

• Once logged in, monitor progress and access additional learning resources.
   

Encourage your child to use the program for about 15 minutes per day, at least 5 days per week.
