O.C.E.A.N., Inc. provided Outreach at the Annual Health & Wellness Fair held at the Toms River Senior Center

O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Home Energy and Direct Services provided outreach assistance at the Annual Health & Wellness Fair held on Friday at the Toms River Senior Center. The event was hosted by the Toms River Municipal Alliance and the Toms River Senior Center.

Throughout the day, local organizations, particularly multi-service organizations, provided multiple services to meet diverse needs aimed at addressing multiple aspects of an individual’s life. Seniors were provided with health, hearing and cancer screening, a complimentary BBQ, entertainment, giveaways and a free shuttle service for those with transportation barriers.

This was the perfect opportunity for residents to meet one on one with O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Home Energy staff who addressed the status of their current applications. Direct Services staff provided an outreach of multiple services including the Senior and Veteran Transportation Programs. Overall, they served 80 seniors providing them with hygiene bag giveaways.
